Lorenzo berhasil meraih quatrick dengan
menyelesaikan balapan kandang di seri MotoGp Catalunya Spanyol. Lorenzo yang
melakukan start dari posisi ketiga langsung menempati posisi pertama setelah
lampu hijau tanda balapan berlangsung dinyalakan.
Penguasaan Lorenzo atas sirkuit Catalunya
memang sangat bagus, sebenarnya Valentino Rossi berhasil memangkas jarak cukup
dekat dengan Lorenzo menjelang empat lap tersisa, puncaknya Rossi berhasil
meraih jarak 1,2 detik jelang satu lap terakhir. Namun balapan yang tinggal
menyisakan satu lap sepertinya tidak bisa digunakan Rossi untuk menyalip rekan setimnya
tersebut.

dalam balapan seri MotoGp Catalunya, seperti Marc Marquez, Dovizioso, Cal
Crutchlow dan Alex Espargaro.
