Setelah berhasil meraih pole posisi pertama
selama gelaran MotoGp musim 2015, Valentino Rossi berhasil mencatatkan waktu
tercepat menyelesaikan lomba MogoGp seri Assen Belanda.
Kemenangan Rossi terhitung cukup dramatis
setelah dominan memimpin jalannya lomba dan selalu ditempel ketat oleh Marc
marquez. Marquez sendiri sempat berhasil merebut pimpinan lomba dan menggeser
posisi pertama Rossi, namun empat lap terakhir Rossi kembali memimpin jalannya
lomba dengan selisih waktu tipis dengan Marquez.
Insiden menegangkan terjadi di tikungan
terakhir jelang garis finish, motor RC213V Marquez menyenggol motor Yamaha YZR
M1 milik Rossi sehingga sempat melebar dan masuk ke gravel. Beruntung Rossi
masih bisa masuk ke track dan menyentuh garis finish pertama.
